Miami Marlins @ Cincinnati Reds Preview

The Miami Marlins will take their talents to the road a day after falling at the new Marlins park by a score of 4-1 vs the defending champs St. Louis Cardinals. For Miami, today’s pitching matchup features one of their top free agent signings, and lone lefty in the rotation, Mark Buehrle. The veteran left-hander makes his Miami debut after spending his entire career with the White Sox. Buehrle has a string of 11 straight seasons throwing at least 200 innings. He’s 2-0, 0.60 ERA lifetime against the Reds. For the Reds it will be right-hander Johnny Cueto.Cueto had a 2.31 ERA in 24 starts and 156 innings last year after missing five weeks with right biceps/triceps issues. He also missed a couple of late-season starts. Cueto, 26, has looked decent in camp and will be making his first Opening Day start.
